Red 7 Media Cited as Top 20 Contributor to New York City Event Industry

Company's Agenda USA Brand Credited with Advancing Standards and Best Practices

NORWALK, CT (June 25, 2008)- The Agenda USA group of regional resource directories and conferences for event and meeting planners, along with parent company Red 7 Media here, has been cited as one of 20 companies that has significantly contributed to the advancement of New York City's event and hospitality industry over the past two decades.

The award was presented by the New York Metro Chapter of the International Special Events Society (ISES) as part of the group's 20th Anniversary dinner at Cipriani Wall Street in New York. Accepting on behalf of Agenda was Founder and Publisher John Jaxheimer, who launched Agenda 20 years ago, has guided its growth, and helped the brand attain new levels of success under Red 7 Media. Red 7, which acquired Agenda in 2006, most recently has re-launched the www.AgendaOnline.com web site, added print products, and expanded the Agenda XPO show series to three cities -- New York, Boston and Los Angeles.

The ISES event, which received a commendation from New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, honored Agenda for supporting and contributing to the overall events industry through education, advancing industry standards and best practices. Agenda took its place on an ISES honoree list including such New York institutions as Tavern on the Green, Abigail Kirsch, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, Cipriani and Chelsea Piers.
